UX stands for user experience, and is basically a look at how easy it is for a customer to purchase from your website. This is essential if you have an ecommerce store that is experiencing traffic (especially paid traffic) but finding that conversions are lower than you would like.
Sometimes all you need is someone to take a look at your site and give you an honest, objective opinion about how it could be working better for you and, let's be honest, making you some more money!
If you're not too sure if I'm the sort of person you want to be taking advice from you can read a bit about me here. But in summary, in the last four years I've launched three successful ecommerce businesses (the first one I launched seven years ago wasn't very successful - but that's OK!);
- One where I made and sold products (I arm knitted super chunky throws)
- One where I source products from suppliers and manufacturers (that's FaceStuff Co)
- One where I sell services and online courses (that's this one)
The process is simple: I record my screen and send you a commentary of the tweaks you can make on your site if you want your website visitors to move through your site to the checkout and become customers.
If you don't quite think that your Shopify site is ready for an audit but you know it could do with some work you might be best to start with my Advanced Shopify Course to work your way through some changes with a bit of DIY.
If you think you're ready to do a bit of a business pivot (a big one or a small one) or you just feel like your overall offer could do with an outside opinion or just a bit of a boost an eCommerce Coaching Session might be what you need.
If you've just got a couple of questions that you'd like to find the answers to, the best place to start is the Running In Heels Facebook Group, or if you're just feeling a bit lost you can get in touch for a chat because I totally get it!
